It's more than just business for us; it's about community. As Bekins has grown over the years, so has the desire to give back. In addition to providing moving supplies, moving services, and storage options, we are most proud of being part of the Okanagan and the initiatives that serve our communities.

A Sense Of Community

Bekins Kelowna owner Nathan is proud to be part of a family-owned and operated business. He has formed a solid connection to the Okanagan since he was born and raised in Kelowna, attending and graduating from Kelowna Secondary School. Nathan loves providing moving tips to customers, but even more so, he enjoys being involved in as many charities as he can and admits he will never turn down an opportunity to try and help people or organizations in need.

Community Involvement

Throughout the years, Bekins has been able to give back in many ways, including being part of the annual Home for the Holidays. As we all know, the last few years have been tragic for the Okanagan with the number of wildfires. Nathan is part of a local group known as EO (Entrepreneurial Organization). Other business owners collected food donations at their businesses for three months and collectively received four busloads of food donations, all of which were donated to the fire evacuees. In 2021 Bekins worked with the Kelowna Rockets, where they ran food drives to collect food donations for the food bank during games. Bekins Kelowna has been serving the Okanagan Community since 2015. With a staff of over 30, we take pride in the moving services we provide and our involvement in the community.
